Work being done on the Steeple Building porch

This past week,  work was begun to renovate and repair the west entryway porch of the Steeple Building Museum. Additional steps and a handrail will also be added to increase public accessibility to this 1854 Bishop Hill Colony building.   The project should be completed by the end of April.  Funding was provided by the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend and the MidAmerican Energy Foundation.  The BHHA thanks both foundations for their support.
