The Bishop Hill Heritage Association is pleased to announce the gift of $5,500 from the Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation. This funding will be used for this year’s educational programs and festivals, such as the Midsommar Music Festival, Julmarknad, and Lucia Nights. The BHHA thanks the Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation for its generosity.
In addition, the BHHA is pleased to announce the award of $600 from the Swedish Council of America. This funding was used to create our summer exhibit Textiles to Tools: Their Impact on 19th Century Bishop Hill. This exhibition of 19th century tools, textiles, and other artifacts will be on display until the end of October. The Heritage thanks the SCA for its continued support.
