Sofia Talvik’s Concert was a hit!

Last Sunday’s concert at the Dairy Building was a great evening event.  Sofia did an outstanding job mixing traditional Swedish folk songs with her original folk compositions.  Over 60 guests were entertained by her performance.  It was also the first time that we tried out our new exterior sidewalk lights  (thanks to Lou Lourdeau and Don Collinson for installing them).  The BHHA would also like to thank the Twinflower Inn and Ca’d’Zan House Concerts for all their help organizing this program.  This concert was  partly funded by the Illinois Arts Council Agency.  Thanks to all our guests who drop in money in our donation jar to help cover the cost of the performance as well.  If you would like to see photographs of this concert, go to our photo gallery or click on the following link: http://bishophillheritage.org/sophia-talvik-concert-9-13-15/ .
