For this week’s look at an artifact from the BHHA Collection, lets take a quick look at the pipspel, A pipspel is a clay whistle shaped like a bird, commonly used as a child’s toy in Sweden. We currently have one on display in our permanent exhibit on the first floor of the Steeple Building Museum. To see this and other artifacts, don’t forget to stop by the Steeple Building Museum, located on 103 North Bishop Hill Street, when you visit Bishop Hill.
