Carl Sandburg College is offering a Spring trip to Bishop Hill

The Corporate & Leisure College of Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg IL is offering a May 21 trip to Bishop Hill (which is during our Vintage Baseball Weekend).  More details are below:

Bishop Hill – May 21 We will start the day attending a vintage baseball game played using rules and replica uniforms from the 1850s and 1860s. Learn how the game has evolved and have a chance to view baseball memorabilia. Afterwards we will visit the Bishop Hill Museum, Colony Church, and take a stroll around town. Once finished we will eat lunch (provided, up to $15) at PL Johnson’s, known for their Swedish meatballs and home-baked desserts. Space is limited, minimum of 10. Registration required by Friday, May 13. No cancellations past 5/13/16; however, a substitute can attend. Please wear comfortable walking shoes (no open-toed shoes).
