Bishop Hill Colony class offered at Carl Sandburg College

On February 28, 2015, the 32nd Class Day will be held at Carl Sandburg College, in which a variety of one day classes are offered to the public.  As part of this Class Day, Morris Nelson, long time BHHA Board member and volunteer, will be teaching a 50 minute class called “Bishop Hill-Who, When, Why.”  The class is about the founding of the Bishop Hill Colony and the causes leading to the major emigration from Sweden to America.  If you would like to take this class, please contact Joyce Hagerty at 309 483-6169 for more information.
