The BHHA’s 1908 Albert Krans Livery Stable Museum and the Spets Stuga will open for the first time in 2024 this Saturday April 6. Located a block east of the Blacksmith Shop, please enjoy viewing the Krans Livery Stable’s early 1900’s harnesses, carriages, sleighs, and other livery stable objects in this stand-alone museum. The Spets Stuga is a children playhouse with a pioneer theme, located at 404 North Erickson Street, by the Dairy Building. Please enjoy the ship and the playhouse. No fee is required to visit the Krans Livery Stable Museum or play at the Spets Stuga but donations are welcome.
After April 6, the Krans Livery Stable will be open Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on special event weekends. The Spets Stuga will be open seven days per week. Both buildings will close at the end of October.
