My name is Todd DeDecker, administrator of the Bishop Hill Heritage Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Bishop Hill Colony. During the first weekend of May 2023, we are hosting a Civil War Days festival. Below is the schedule for our Bishop Hill Civil War Day for Schools on Friday May 5, 2023. This is a free, unique field trip hands-on experience that is a one-time only program.
