The inner workings of the Steeple Building Clock

For this week’s look at the BHHA Collection, we will take a look at the inner workings of the 1859 Steeple Building Clock.  Not too many people have seen the actual inner mechanism.  This clock was built in 1859 and still works!  It has the original pendulum and over 90% of its original parts.   Below are recent photographs of this original early 19th century giant grandfather clock. This town clock was restarted last week due to the efforts of Roy Burlingame and Lou Lourdeau.
