The 2013 Astrid Lindgren Festival was a Hit!

240 3rd graders from Gale, Sherrard, Cambridge, Alwood, Bradford, and Galva Elementary Schools participated in this year’s Astrid Lindgren Festival during the month of the April.  Students were read stories, completed crafts, and played games.  Thank you to all the volunteers who made this festival possible.  Also, the Astrid Lindgren Festival was paid for, in part, by the Illinois Art Council, a state agency.
