The opening of the traveling exhibit, From Generation to Generation, Folk Arts of Illinois, went very well.  Over 100 guest visited the Steeple Building to view this display. In addition to panels describing folk artists from all over Illinois, we have added some Bishop Hill components as well, such as paintings from Olof Krans.

Also, over forty people attended the afternoon performance of Robert Bowlin and Wil Maring as they performed a variety of bluegrass and folk music.  Photographs of their performance can be seen at http://bishophillheritage.org/robert-bowlin-and-wil-maring-performing-at-the-steeple-building-6-28-14/ (courtesy of Lou Lourdeau).  However, no photographs are posted for the exhibit.  You will have to come out to Bishop Hill and see the display for yourself!
