Yesterday, I was reading an interesting article in the Boston Globe titled Yosemite National Park, brought to you by Starbucks? (http://www.bostonglobe.com/business/2016/05/09/yosemite-national-park-brought-you-starbucks/RI8ljZrL4a24jyaMXSMH8J/story.html).  To sum up, the National Park Service is planning to increase the amount and type of corporate sponsorships it allows in order to raise money for various projects involving their park facilities.  The story does a good job of describing the pros and cons of this action.  On the one hand, historic preservation projects are costly and getting more costly all the time.  On the other hand, what will happen to the parks and their facilities when for-profit companies have an increasing say?  It is a dilemma that all historic sites deal with to some degree.

So please read the article and let me know what you think.
