Presentation to the Swedish American Museum in Chicago went well

On Sunday June 2,  the BHHA conducted a 45 minute presentation about Bishop Hill to 25 members of the Swedish American Museum in Chicago.  Board member Deni Menken talked about the founding of the Bishop Hill Colony.  Board Treasure Vicki Massie portrayed Mrs Krans, Olof Krans’ mother.  Administrator Todd DeDecker talked about what is happening in Bishop Hill today and the role of the Heritage.  The crowd had many questions about Bishop Hill and the BHHA.  Currently, the Swedish American Museum is planning a bus trip to Bishop Hill in September.
