Over 100 students enjoyed the first week of the Astrid Lindgren Festival

3rd grade students from Gale Elementary and Sherrard Elementary schools enjoyed learning about Pippi Lockstocking by participating in games, creating crafts, and listening to “Pippi Goes to the Circus.”  We thank both those schools for coming and hope to see them next year!  The Astrid Lindgren Festival continues at the Steeple Building for the next two weeks.  The Festival is funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
