Then sit back and enjoy a delightful concert of their sweet, melodic Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish repertoire in the park at 4.
The duet’s energetic sound is shaped with violin, mandolin, wooden flute, guitar, percussion, and two singing voices. Jutta Distler researches most of the traditional music in the band’s repertoire while visiting her musician family in Sweden and Denmark. She also composes original melodies that live within the folk tradition. Founded in 1990, the Nordland Band tours internationally.
This concert, as are all the Midsommar Music Festival concerts, are free and open to the public.  Please bring a lawn chair and enjoy.  For more information, contact the BHHA at 309 927-3899 or at bhha@mymctc.net
