Kick off your summer with a day of music and fun at Bishop Hill’s Midsommar Music Festival on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 11 a.m. Musical festivities will continue throughout the day and end with a barn dance in the evening. There is a great line-up of musical entertainers and a Maypole procession from the park to the Colony school. Stage in the center of the park in front of the gazebo:

Blind Baggage 3 pm
***Maypole dressing begins at 4 pm and procession to the Colony
School begins just after it is dressed.
Barn Dance at the Colony School with The Rusty Pickup String Band – 7 pm. All dances called and taught by veteran caller Ms. Gail Hintze. No experience needed. Admission to the dance is $5 per person.
