Kick off your summer with a day of music and fun at Bishop Hill’s Midsommar Music Festival on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 11 a.m. Musical festivities will continue throughout the day and end with a barn dance in the evening. There is a great line-up of musical entertainers and a Maypole procession from the park to the Colony school. Bring the whole family and your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy Midsommar in Bishop Hill on Saturday, June 22.   The schedule is below.  If you have additional questions, please call 309 927-3899.

***Maypole dressing begins at 4 pm and procession to the Colony
School begins just after it is dressed.

 

Barn Dance at the Colony School with The Rusty Pickup String Band – 7 pm.   All dances called and taught by veteran caller Ms. Gail Hintze.  No experience needed. Admission to the dance is $5 per person.
