In preparation for this Saturday’s Bishop Hill Chautauqua, the BHHA will be previewing each of the afternoon performances. Our 3rd and final performance begins at 3:30 p.m. at the park gazebo with Laura Keyes portraying Laura Ingalls Wilder

.Laura Keyes is a widely respected storyteller and historian who also happens to be a library director with a deep love for history and literature. For her, Laura Ingalls Wilder is more than a hero from history, she is an inspiration for all of us who wish to preserve our family stories, and in so doing share an intimate glimpse of history as we have lived it.

Due to Covid-19, this year’s Chautauqua is a reservation only event, with the Laura Ingalls Wilder performance already fully booked. Hopefully, next year, we will have more spots available for our guests.
