Below is the day to day schedule for Julmarknad (Christmas Market). Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for December 3 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 4.
Saturday December 3
- Make it/Take it Christmas ornament workshop for children 12 and under from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Steeple Building Museum.
- Children are invited to make edible tree ornaments at the Bjorklund Hotel from 1 to 3 p.m.
- Woodcarving demonstration in the Steeple Building Museum.
- A Chocolate Walk will also be held at the Dairy Building. Purchase quality chocolates by the pound from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Prairie Arts Center will host a book signing for Clouds Over Bishop Hill, written by Mary Davidsaver, from 1 to 4 p.m.
- Tomten roaming the village
- Working Model Railroad and Christmas Display in Steeple Building Museum
- Booking signing by Tim Pletkovich, author of Civil War Fathers, at Frau Blucker’s
