Kewanee 7th grade and Bishop Hill

On Thursday, Feb. 20,  BHHA Administrator Todd DeDecker visited Central Junior High to talk to the 7th grade about “Geography, Immigration and the Bishop Hill Colony.”  110 students learned about the impact that the Bishop Hill Colony had on Swedish immigration to the U.S.  7th grade social studies teacher Mr. Firstad hosted the presentations.
