As part of the 2023 Bishop Hill Chautauqua, join Jo Lakota and The Eagle Ridge Drum as they transport the audience to the earliest days of Native American history. Their performance starts at 11 a.m. this Sunday morning at the park gazebo in Bishop Hill, IL. It is free and open to the public, like all the Chautauqua performances.
The 2023 Bishop Hill Chautauqua is a 2-day historical re-enactment brought to life through storytelling and music on August 26 and 27 in historic Bishop Hill IL. Spend the weekend in the village park with several characters from our past such as Bob Dylan, Abraham Lincoln, Jenny Lind, Carl Sandberg and many more. Saturday afternoon, enjoy Fika with some of the performers. Saturday evening, enjoy a dinner theater at P.L. Johnson. Event is free and open to the public.
