The Bishop Hill Heritage Association has a large archive containing genealogy information about the Bishop Hill Colonists (1846-1861). If you have an ancestor who was a Colonist and would like to learn more about them, please open and fill out the Genealogy Request Form located at the end of this post. Then email your request form using the email address given on the form. Or you can also mail it to P.O. Box 92, Bishop Hill, IL 61419. We will be happy to assist you with your family history research.
