Hammer and PIck Performing Sunday in Bishop Hill!

As part of our 2023 Civil War Days, Hammer and PIck will be performing at the park gazebo on Sunday May 7 at 11 a.m. The folk music ensemble Hammer and Pick has been playing for audiences in Western Illinois since the 1980’s. Jon Wagner plays hammered dulcimer, banjo, guitar and harmonica, Jan Sams plays guitar and bass, William Hope plays guitar and dobro as we all join in singing.. At this concert, they will be playing Civil War and other folk songs. This concert is free and open to the public.
