The Steeple Building Museum has two floors of displays. The first floor has the permanent display about the Bishop Hill Colony and the temporary exhibit room. The second floor has various displays about different topics.
Each year, our regular visitors ask us if there is anything new on the 2nd floor to check out. The answer is always yes. Each winter, we rotate new old artifacts into our second-floor displays. This year, some of the new items are a 1850’s baby carriage, with the original paint, and a pottery display. Photographs are below.
