As 2014 nears it end, so does the Dairy Building Interior Restoration Project.  Except for a little bit of painting, the upstairs north side “Grand Room” is completed, with a half bathroom, heating, and air-conditioning (when the time comes).  Work is moving quickly on the south side “apartment” area.  Electricity, heating, and air-conditioning has been added.  Work is currently being done on the plumbing, especially in the bathroom, and the woodwork.  Check out the latest photographs of this project by going to our photo gallery or by clicking on http://bishophillheritage.org/dairy-building-interior-restoration-project-december-2014/.

We are still taking donations for this project.  If you are interested in being part of the restoration of this historic Bishop Hill Colony Building, please call 309 927-3899 or email bhha@mymctc.net.
