Colony Store Mail Case

Recently the Colony Store Mail Box Case (circa 1854-1959) was donated to the Bishop Hill Heritage Association.  After some cleaning and some repairs, it has been reassembled in the main first floor hallway of the Steeple Building Museum.  Next time you are in town, please stop by, take a look at it, and read about its fascinating history.
