Each year, the Knox County Association for Home and Community Education sponsors a Class Day at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL that enables the general public to take workshops or listen to presentations on a variety of topics.  This year’s Class Day is this Saturday Feb. 27 and several Bishop Hill people/organizations are conducting/performing at various classes:

  • Gary and Linda Carey of Wire and Woods are teaching people about dulcimers
  • Vicki Massie is doing a presentation about her trip to Egypt
  • Mike Massie is talking about Liberia
  • Roger Anderson and Patty Varner are talking about the Henry County Museum
  • Vicki Massie, Mary Bjorling Dianne Lindbom, Cheryl Dowell, and Deni Menken are performing the skit “To The Church” which is about mass marriages in the Bishop Hill Colony.
