The 2025 Bishop Hill Midsommar Music Festival is a family-friendly event occurring on Saturday June 21. Highlights of this festival includes free concerts in the park, a Swedish Maypole celebration, and much more. Please bring a lawn chair and join us as we celebrate this Swedish holiday in historic Bishop Hill, Illinois.
As part of the Midsommar Music Festival, Chloe Finch will be performing in the park at 11:30 a.m. Chloe is from Cambridge, IL. She began dabbling in music when she
was 6-years-old. Thanks to a talented neighbor who taught her to play songs with her grandpa’s lap steel. This led to her learning to play the ukulele and now acoustic guitar. She gave her first performance in front of a live audience less than a year
later with a song titled “Reading is Fun-DUH+Mental” at Cá d’Zan. As she grew, so did her taste in music. Chloe is drawn to singing classic country and has been referred to as an old soul with a phonographic quality to her voice. One of the first songs she covered was Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight.” Her play list includes a variety of influencers such as The Judds, Larkin Poe, Fleetwood Mac, and now Lainey Wilson. These days you can find Chloe singing the National Anthem at local events and performing music wherever she can. She has won open mic nights, represented the Henry County Fair at the state Jr talent show in Springfield, IL (2022) and has participated in Blues Camp and KIDSTOCK hosted by Common Chord in Davenport, IA.
The Midsommar Music Festival is sponsored by the Bishop Hill Heritage Association, Bishop Hill State Historic Site, Bishop Hill Old Settler’s Association, Vasa National Archives, Bishop Hill Vasa Lodge #683, and area businesses.
