As part of our Doodle Folk Music Festival in the village park on Saturday June 13, Bucktown Americana Music Show will be performing at 1:30 p.m. The Bucktown Americana Music Show has been bringing the best in traditional music to the Midwest for going on two decades. Featuring fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and vocal harmonies, Bucktown showcases roots music’s rich heritage.
Based in Quad-Cities, Bucktown performs a monthly show at the Rock Island Watts-Midtown Library Theater. The show’s members also travel throughout the region, performing at festivals and venues. The Bucktown crew is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional music as ambassadors of roots music in the Midwest.
If you’re a fan of bluegrass, folk, Celtic, Americana, or old-time music, you’ll love the Bucktown Americana Music Show. Their music is lively, energetic, and sure to get your feet tapping.
