The traveling exhibit, A Community on the Prairie:  Bishop Hill, Illinois, is now on display in the Swedish-American Museum in Chicago.  Located on the 2nd floor of the museum, this exhibit describes the founding of the Bishop Hill Colony up to modern times.  A Community on the Prairie:  Bishop Hill, Illinois was produced by the Bishop Hill Heritage Association and the Bishop Hill State Historic Site with financial support from the Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation, the Swedish Council of America, and the Illinois Arts Council Agency, a state agency. It will be on display in Chicago through the holiday season.
