A collection management policy is a public document that outlines the scope of a museum’s collection, explains how the museum cares for and makes collections available to the public, and clearly defines the roles of the parties responsible for managing the museum’s collections. The Bishop Hill Heritage Association has such a policy. Since we have not posted it for a while, I though it would be a good time to do so, for people who are interested. If you have any questions about it, please contact the BHHA at 309 927-3899 or email bhha@mymctc.net
