As you visit Bishop Hill for Jordbruksdagarna, please support BHHA’s activities by visiting the Colony Store and the Svensk Varm Korv stand. At the Colony Store, there are fresh vegetables from the Heritage garden as well as bundles of flax, broomcorn and sorghum for sale for autumn decorations. At the Svensk Varm Krov (Swedish Hotdog) stand, located by the Colony Store, you can purchase a meal for $6. This meal, prepared by BHHA volunteers, includes a Swedish Hot Dog, baked beans, chips, and a beverage. What is a Swedish hotdog? You will have to buy one and taste it for yourself. Proceeds from the Colony Store and the food stand benefits the BHHA.
