The BHHA is again organizing this year’s Jordbruksdagarna (Ag Days) event in Bishop Hill. This annual event began in 1971 as an effort to highlight the agricultural history of the Bishop Hill Colony, focusing on 19th century farming techniques and products. At this festival, not only visitors can purchase fall products but also can witness a working sorghum press, hand make a clay brick, watch antique threshing equipment in action, and much more. This year’s event on September 27 and 28 2025, making it one of the longest running harvest festivals in Henry County.
