As part of the 2023 Bishop Hill Chautauqua, join author and historian Brian “Fox” Ellis for a walking tour through Bishop Hill, Illinois. This one-hour tour starts at the park gazebo at 9 a.m. Hear the touching, tragic, and inspiring stories of the immigrants who created this Utopia on the Prairie. Weaving quotes from the founders with Swedish folk tunes, this tour is both educational and entertaining. The tour is free but donations are welcomed. No reservations are necessary.
