The Heritage will be sponsoring a Chautauqua to be held in the village park on Saturday, September 7. This is a brand new event. In a modern day Chautauqua, performers portray historical figures. For this year’s Chautauqua, Carl Sandburg, Mother Bickerdike, Ninian Edwards and others will be visiting Bishop Hill. More details will be released during the course of the summer.
