December 1 and 2, large number of shoppers traveled to Bishop Hill for the last weekend of Julmarknad (Christmas Market). Over 500 people bought cookies, brownies, fudge and more at the Chocolate Walk located in the Steeple Building. On Saturday, the Chocolate Walk set a new personal record for most items sold in one day. Also, kids of all ages enjoyed watching the model train in the “Locomotives, Depots, Trestles, and Bishop Hill” exhibit. In addition, visitors were entertained by the antics of the roaming Tomten, Swedish elves, and the Julbock, Yule-goat.
