The 17th annual Honor Flight Benefit returns to Bishop Hill on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Filling Station Restaurant, located at 303 N. Bishop Hill Street. All proceeds from the day’s events will be donated to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. On Saturday, the Filling Station will have a pay-what-you-can Honor Flight Breakfast Buffet and then later a Lunch Buffet; the grill will not be open on the day. There will also be a brown bag raffle fundraiser from 8 to 11 a.m., followed by a live action at 11 a.m. In addition, there will be free live music.
Since the start of this benefit, the community has raised more than $170,000 for the Quad Cities Chapter of the Honor Flight Network. Area veterans will be provided with a free trip to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorial with priority given to survivors of World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and any veteran with a terminal illness. Honor Flight Quad Cities operates on donations from organizations and individuals.
Right now, we are accepting monetary donations and also donations of raffle and baked goods. Raffle donations can be made till Thursday June 11th. Baked Goods donations need be dropped off on Friday June 12. In addition, we are looking for patriot riders.
