The July 12, 2025 Dancing Queen concert at 1 p.m. in the park in historic Bishop Hill, IL is free due to the financial support provided by Community State Bank, Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation, Minneapolis Foundation, Illinois Arts Council, and of course the Bishop Hill Heritage Association. But it does not mean that we do not accept the donations.
The BHHA does accept donations and will be accepting donations that day to help finance the concert. Before the concert, during intermission, and after the concert, BHHA volunteers will have jars for accepting cash donations only. They will be wearing badges that state that they are BHHA staff. They will be stationed at each of the entrances to the park, just outside the fence. If you wish to make a donation, please give it to one of them.
We do want to emphasize that donations are not required. The concert is free. We are happy if you enjoyed our town and the concert. However, if you wish to make a donation, we will not turn you away. Thank you.
