This year’s Chautauqua will be on Saturday, August 24 in the village park, as usual. The theme is An Encounter with Visionaries. The following are the historical characters being portrayed, followed by the reenactors who will be portraying them:
- Charles Darwin (by Brian “Fox” Ellis)
- Susan B Anthony (by Annette Baldwin)
- George Washington Carver (by Bobby Norfolk)
- Bob Dylan (by Danny Fox); this will be a musical performance
A schedule will be released later. The Chautauqua is free and open to the public, due to the support of the Galesburg Community Foundation, Bill and Susan Sherrard Foundation, Twinflower Inn, and the BHHA.
