On Saturday August 24,spend the day with several characters from our past, such as George Washington Carver and Charles Darwin. Join us for a historical re-enactment brought to life through storytelling and music. The theme this year is An Encounter With Visionaries: Exploring Boundaries. Free event held in the village park.
The following are the historical characters being portrayed, followed by the reenactors who will be portraying them:
11 a.m. Charles Darwin (by Brian “Fox” Ellis)
1 p.m. Susan B Anthony (by Annette Baldwin)
3 p.m. George Washington Carver (by Bobby Norfolk)
4 p.m. Bob Dylan (by Danny Fox); this will be a musical performance
