1851 Carpenter Shop and blankets

At the 1851 Carpenter Building, the masons have finished their work and returned to Chicago. However, the mortar need to cure for at least 20 days at an average daily temperature of 40 degrees to properly set. Due to the upcoming colder weather, we had to blanket some parts of the building with plastic and heaters so the mortar can cure. Check out the photos to see how a building is blanketed.
