The women suffrage program with Angie Snook that was planned for August 29 has been rescheduled to Saturday November 21. It will still be 2 p.m. at the Dairy Building.

In August 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, thereby guaranteeing women the right to vote, the culmination of a decades-long movement for women’s suffrage at both state and national levels. Join us as Geneseo Historical Museum’s Angie Snook discusses what it took for American women to obtain the right to vote and the role Illinois women played in achieving the major milestone in American history. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the BHHA 309 927-3889 or email bhha@mymctc.net
