Friday, May 31, a group of Swedish governors, university presidents, tourism directors, and folk fiddlers visited Bishop Hill.  They were first given a tour of the village, visiting the State Museum, VASA archives, Colony Church, and the Steeple Building.   Lunch was then provided by the BHHA at the Steeple Building.  Finally our Swedish guests conducted a presentation about the World Heritage Halsingland Farmhouses, with a musical performance by the folk fiddlers.  Over 50 people attended the presentation, which was located in VagnHall Galleri.

The Heritage would like to thank the following BHHA volunteers who helped made this event a success:  Thanks to Cheryl Dowell, Janene Lourdeau, Deni Menken, and Jane Tornquist for making and serving lunch.  Thank you to Vicki Massie for providing some of the food.  Thanks to Lou Lourdeau for taking photographs and helping with teardown.  Thank you to Morris Nelson and Dorothy Ericson for helping with teardown.
