New Bishop Hill Book by Lilly Setterdahl

To celebrate Bishop Hill’s 175th anniversary, the BHHA is publishing a new book about Bishop Hill History. Titled Bishop Hill Reframed Voices from the Past, it is written by Lilly Setterdahl.  Lilly has written 24 books, 18 of which are nonfiction about Swedes in America (2 coauthored).  Bishop Hill Reframed Voices from the Past is a 240-page book, with photographs, that covers Bishop Hill history from Colony to modern times. This book will be available for purchase at the Bishop Hill Colony Store this summer. The Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation provided funding for publishing. Proceeds from these book sales will be used to support BHHA activities.
