Landmarks Illinois Award Ceremony was a blast!

This past weekend in Chicago, the Bishop Hill Heritage Association received the 2015 Richard H. Driehuas Foundation Preservation Award for Stewardship from Landmarks Illinois.  The BHHA was part of a 3 person panel discussion about historic preservation and stewardship, followed by the awards ceremony.  The event was well-attended, with many compliments given about the work being done in Bishop Hill.  Thank you to Kerstin, Joe, Paul, Pat, Walker, and David for attending the ceremony and representing the Heritage.  Thanks to all our members, donors, volunteers, and other supporters whose hard work and generosity made this award possible.  Photographs of the event can be seen at http://bishophillheritage.org/landmarks-illinois-award-ceremony-10-17-15/
