On Saturday, August 29 starting at 10 a.m. in the Steeple Building, professional storyteller and author Brian “Fox” Ellis will be offering a 2 hour workshop for teachers, actors, students, and home-schoolers. This workshop is designed to help educators bring history to life through first person monologues. We will explore research, writing and performing as characters from the past, presenting lessons plans easily adapted for various grade levels, helping teachers integrate the curriculum through creative non-fiction. This workshop is for ages 10 and up.
Free will donations are appreciated. Walk-ins are accepted but preregistration is encouraged so call 309 927-3899 or email bhha@mymctc.net to reserve your spot today.
