This table is currently on the display in the first floor hallway of the Steeple Building and is from the Jacobson estate.  Dining tables, made from walnut, would have one or two drop leaves on each side. Some Colony tables would have a very long lap-front drawer with a mushroom knob. The legs would be turned with either a round or square spacer in the middle.  It was not unusual to have the table tops made from one plank of lumber.
