19th Century Craft Demonstrations during Ag Days

As part of Jordbruksdagarna this Saturday and Sunday, there will be 19th century craft demonstrations in two main locations in Bishop Hill.  On the east side of the park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., artisans will demonstrate rope making, butter making, basket weaving, blacksmithing and much more.  Behind the Bjorklund Hotel from noon to 4 p.m., each day, kids of all ages can make bricks, shell corn, and create corn husk dolls, all of which can be taken home.  There will also be a horse powered sorghum press, and inside the Hotel, there will be candle making.
